The finite element analysis (FEA) is an approach used to find a solutions to complex problems for example in structural analysis. This approach does not estimate a real physical problem, which would be far too complied. Instead of finding an exact solution by solving numerous differential equations, it approximates the structure into finite element model and finds the approximate solution ...

The vertical ball mill is used for the processing of highviscous premixed pastes, like chocolate, compound, crèmes, nut and seedpaste. The continuous design vertical ball mill can be used in a 1 – 3 stage refining system, with 1 – 3 ball mills in a sequential row after the premixer. Service. Your partner for a carefree future:
An explicit finiteelement (FE) model of a pressurised tennis ball is presented. The FE model was used to model an oblique impact between a tennis ball and a rigid tennis surface, to further the understanding of this impact. Impacts were also conducted in the laboratory and the results from the FE model were in good agreement with this experimental data.
The analysis is done using Finite Element Method and the simulation is done using ANSYS. The advantage of using the FEM methodology is that unlimited number of stiffeners can be added to the model, which can be placed at any direction inside the plate element [4]. The formulation accepts eccentric and concentric stiffeners of different crosssections. Finite Element Method: The finite .

13/02/2009 · The results of discrete element method simulation were compared with actual grinding experimental results. The grinding rate constant K can be expressed as K=a exp(bn), where n is the rotation speed. To investigate the correlation between K and the simulation results, a new factor, the calculated force, was defined as F cal =average force acting on a ball coordination number.
FEA (finite element analysis) cuts a structure into a lot of elements (pieces of the structure). Then these elements are reconnected at "nodes" as if nodes were pins or drops of glue that hold elements together. This process results in a set of simultaneous algebraic equations.

In the 3D finite element model, both disc and balls were described by linear reduced integration solid elements C3D8R according to Abaqus terminology. The finite element mesh shown in Fig. 1 was refined in the contact regions between the disc and the balls as well as in the uniform pressure area corresponding to the piston loading.
